In addition to meeting professional standards, employees at Georg Fischer shall also fulfil high ethical requirements when dealing with their fellow workers and all company partners. For this reason, employees at Georg Fischer shall observe the following - at all times - in their relations with fellow workers, as well as with customers, suppliers and business partners, competitors, authorities and the general public:

• adhere to the current laws and regulations and act according to the internal directives issued by Georg Fischer in all activities; in particular, adhere to the prevailing antitrust and export regulations, as well as to the prohibition of utilising and transmitting insider information;
• respect the rights and dignity of other persons;
• neither receive nor provide illegal financial or other advantages;
• refrain from acts which lead to a conflict of interest;
• neither relay confidential data and documents nor damage the material and intellectual property of Georg Fischer and other companies.

The basic principles of this code of conduct are outlined and defined in further detail in internal directives. It is expected of every employee at Georg Fischer that he or she and their subordinate staff members comply with the code of conduct. Georg Fischer monitors the adherence. Any infringements will be punished internally and can also have penal consequences.
