The VDI Recruiting Day on 22 September gives engineers a chance to really get to know the Georg Fischer Corporation. Staff from all three Corporate Groups will be present at the Kongresshaus Zürich to talk about the career at Georg Fischer. Engineers working in a variety of disciplines will be on hand to give an insight into their daily work at GF and discuss their personal impressions.
Various surveys show that Georg Fischer is among the leading employers for young engineers in Switzerland. In the Universum Swiss Student Survey, a poll conducted among students in Switzerland, Georg Fischer came in 82nd (last year 99th) in the Engineering segment for the "Ideal Employer 2010".
In the Graduate Barometer published by trendence and NZZcampus, the students surveyed also placed Georg Fischer among the 100 most popular employers.
